4. Conclusion
In summary, LID-TAT-PLs have been successfully prepared. Compared to CLs prepared from Phosphatidylcholine/cholesterol, LID-TAT-PLs have smaller diameter, higher encapsulation efficiency and better stability. Moreover, skin permeation studies in vitro and in vivo revealed that TAT-PLs can enhance the LID transdermal activities. These results showed that this drug delivery system represented an effective and potential alternative for the transdermal formulation.
