You are aware that Michelle and I have been working on inventory integrity over the last few weeks. I have put screen shots on wiki showing what we mean by inventory integrities as there are three inventory files in JDE that should all say the same thing but they don’t.

For your business unit, we have moved to using the standard JDE inventory integrity report R41544 that shows where the item ledger quantities or values do not match the item balances, rather than an old access 97 database that is problematic. In getting these reports to show us the genuine problems, I have had to process several IA adjustments to write off small rounding’s. My next IA’s will be to move values between two locations – with no impact on the P&L – the item circled below in Red
It is likely we will need to do more entries that will affect your P&L but we will let you know when that happens – the item circled in green below is an example.
While we are working on getting the data clean, and documenting who and how to fix any new issue that is created, can you please think about who in your business you want to own this processes going forward.
