The results of the study lead to some
recommendations for teaching and developing
inference skills. Curriculum developers should
include more reading courses in every major
subject area. Teachers should have to collect
students’ biographical data such as their
proficiency level, age, career, marital status,
etc to assist teachers in preparing teaching
methodology in advance, and also select
reading materials that suit learners’
characteristics and experiences. Reading texts
can be adapted for difficulty level in order to
suit learners’ proficiency through “text
