Whole bodies of shrimp in FL2, FL3, and FL4 had similar moisture
contents and which were similar to all other treatments (Table 4).
Those in CL had significantly higher moisture content than in FL1
(Pb0.05). The crude protein content of shrimps in FL3 was significantly
higher than the other treatments, while that in FL1 was significantly
lower than the other treatments (Pb0.05). The lowest and
highest value of the crude lipid content appeared in FL1 and CL, respectively.
The crude lipid content increased from FL1 to FL3, with
FL1 being significantly lower than all the other treatments except
FL4. The ash of shrimps in CL treatment was significantly lower than
that in the other treatments (Pb0.05). FL1 and FL4 had similar ash
content and were significantly lower than that obtained in FL2 or
FL3 treatment (Pb0.05) (Table 4).
