n a Danish context, The Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship, has undertaken yearly studies of the impact of entrepreneurship
education by looking at the numbers of business start-ups combined with student assessment of entrepreneurial
competencies. The study from 2010 shows that the average 8.4 percent of Danish students participating in entrepreneurship
education are more likely to start a sustainable business because they evaluate themselves to have gained competencies in
decision making, problemsolving and collaboration. Moreover, they are open to additional entrepreneurship courses later on
in their education (FFE & Young Enterprise, 2010).
