In the case of B. infantis NCIMB 702205, CH resulted
in significantly higher cell concentration than the other dairy-based
protein sources. However, compared to the control (YE) it seemed
to be slightly lower, although the value was not significant
(Pb0.05). In addition, the pH decrease of the milk samples was in
agreement with the bacterial growth profiles; i.e. the lowest pH
value was recorded with CH for both strains
