Avoid air conveying the material after DeDusting. Testing has shown that
pneumatic conveying can increase the fines content caused by high conveying
velocities. Dust increase exponentially with increasing conveying velocities. For
most materials, excessive formation of dust and streamers has been found at
velocities above 2000 ft/min (10m/s). If it is necessary to air convey after
DeDusting, the distance should be kept as short as possible to keep the amount
of fines produced low.
