CTA PULMONARY ARTERY *******
Clinical: Dyspnea.
Technique: The serial axial CT scans of chest were performed at 1.5 mm interval on pre and
post contrast phase.
Findings: The study reveals no evidence of filling defect along bilateral main pulmonary arteries and their branches.
The diameter of main pulmonary artery is within normal limited, measured about 3.1 cm.
No definite pulmonary mass or nodule.
Minimal plate atelectasis at fissure of left lung is noted.
Trachea and main bronchi appear normal.
Minimal right pleural effusion is noted.
Cardiomegaly is noted. No pericardial effusion is detected.
Multiple subcentrimeter lymph nodes are seen at prevascular, right paratracheal, precarinal and both hilar regions.
Mild atherosclerosis is noted.
Liver, spleen, pancreas and both adrenal glands appear unremarkable.
A 0.6 cm renal cyst is noted at left kidney.
Bony structure is intact.
Impression:No evidence of pulmonary embolism in this study.
Minimal plate atelectasis at left lung fissure.
Minimal right pleural effusion.
Cardiomegaly.
Multiple subcentrimeter hilar and mediastinal lymph nodes.
