The woodland and
farmland soils adjacent to lead–zinc mines were found seriously
polluted. Moso bamboo forests (Phyllostachys edulis) have high
economic value and are widely distributed in China (Su et al.,
2013). The area under cultivation of moso bamboo comprises more
than 3.37Mha which is about 70% of the total area of bamboo
cultivation in China (Chen et al., 2009)
