This is my new favorite! But I never would have guessed the notes. This does not smell herbal like Guerlain's Mandarine Basillic or typically aquatic like Davidoff's Cool Water. There's a bit of a salty tinge, but it's nothing like the salt in fragrances like Olympea or Womanity. To me it smells a bit like warm boardwalk wood... sweet and slightly salty (however, the scent is not dry like wood usually is). There's no seaweed here, and the grapefruit isn't sharp or bitter. The sage only comes in the drydown, and it's very light. I was actually shocked by how sweet this scent is. It's very sweet, and I smell something fruity (peach?) candy-like in there, perhaps it's the muskmallow. I love it so much. How unique! It's an inoffensive scent that's suitable for most occasions...unless you're going to the opera or something. I think it's more feminine than masculine, but if I smelled this on a man, I'd be very inclined to follow him around.
Edit: In the drydown I'm starting to emit a beautiful clean sea spray. I'm so in love. How is it even possible to make an inoffensive salty fragrance??
