Indonesia, according to the World Bank data, is showing the deceleration in poverty reduction; recorded only 0.7 percent. In 2013, there are 20.8 million people in Indonesia who live in poverty (Data, BPS). Significant economic growth in Indonesia has given a positive contribution in alleviating the number of poverty. The number of poverty fell to 11.3 % in 2014, compared to 24% in 1999. However in the last two years, poverty reduction only reaches 0.7 % and it was the smallest rate in this decade.
