Based in Jakarta, Indonesia and it was established in 1991. PT SISM is a professionally managed company. The company draws strength from its ability to combine the usage of sophisticated management tools and superlative technical expertise, gained over years of experience in the industry.

Being a subsidiary of Samudera Indonesia Group, the companies enjoys a steady of qualified technical superintendents, from its vast pool of competent seafarers. The company also ensures continuous personnel development by sending the employees to various training programs, either conduct in house and or send to outside.

PT Samudera Indonesia Ship Management operates a quality management covering operations both on board ships and in the office. The system was developed entirely with the use of in-house resources from concept to implementation. A full ship internal audit program has been in operation since the management received ISO 9001 in compliance with IMO/ISM Code in 1997, with audits taking place annually which uses an audit body from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai Class. These ensure that Company Operating Procedure are closely followed, and that current legislation is implemented and observed. A similar audit program is also in operation within PT Samudera Indonesia Ship Management office.

The company offers such services either as separate modules or as an integrated package. PT SISM will have the ability to supply management service from Jakarta, Indonesia. Other services include technical consultancy and survey, required for the decision making of the purchase of new building/second hand vessels.
