What the hell was I doing here? I didn’t know, but I was parked near her house. I didn’t use my white Audi R8, because I didn’t want to get recognized so I drove an older, ordinary car which I barely used. I had been parked here for over an hour. I didn’t even know if she was home to begin with. I sighed and put my car key in the ignition, when the corner of my eye caught some movement. I saw her front door open and a male figure appeared in the doorway. I thought it was Adrian at first, but this was definitely another guy. I saw her appear behind him, which made my heart stop. They talked at the door and I saw her smile brightly at him. Then she pulled him into a hug, a hug that lasted way too long. My blood started to boil. I gripped the steering wheel tightly and watched their every move. They talked some more and he finally looked like he was going to leave. But then he kissed her cheek and that sent me over the edge. “PUTA!” I yelled inside my car and hit my steering wheel repeatedly with my fists. I turned the car key in the ignition and revved the engine. I raced off, probably violating the speed limit but that was the last care on my mind.

I lost not only her that day, but also my driver’s license. I had already gotten tickets for speeding and hitting red lights in the past so I had it coming. It didn’t matter, because I could easily hire a chauffeur. It had been 2 days since I saw them together and I had called in sick for training. I was mentally not fit to face anything besides my bed. I heard a knock on my bedroom door. “Yes” I groaned. “I brought lunch” Marcela said on the other end of the door. “Not hungry” I said. She came in anyway carrying a tray in her hands. She placed it on the nightstand and sat down on the edge of my bed. Marcela knew what had happened, because I had been a sobbing mess that day. “You need to eat and get a grip on yourself” she said in an irritated voice.
