Thanks for your lovely message. Now, i'm in my bed with the kids, i will be going to the office in 20 minutes....I want to use this opportunity to share with you more about me and my family.
I'm the only child born to a loving family of Dr. Steed Stanford and Teresa Stanford, he was my mentor and best friend, My father was a Chemical Engineer and an industrialist, he was more of a contractor who travels abroad mostly for jobs and business meetings. My father died and my mother was left alone. My mom, Teresa Stanford, now she is 80 years old and just received a kidney transplant in July of 2012. Her kidneys failed in 1999, and she began dialysis. This became more difficult for her as the years wore on, as it seemed to sap more and more of her strength. It got to the point where she could do nothing but rest after her treatments. She was placed on the waiting list for a kidney transplant. I offered to donate a kidney, but the doctor told me that they would not take a kidney from me because my mom insisted. In July 2012 she got the call she'd been waiting for, and rushed to Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, to be tested for a kidney transplant. The donor kidney was a match and the surgery took place. She was only hospitalized for a week or so, then went home with a functioning kidney. She is an excellent mother. She has always been a simple person, very nice and compassionate. she loves people and they love her. Her mother was a homemaker, and her father was a railroad employee. Her only brother is four years younger than she is. His name is Jeffery. He is so funny! He is my favorite uncle.
Really having a child also changes the amount of time you have to spend completely on yourself. I used to be able to sleep until 10 am if I felt like doing so, but now that is not the case. I must put my daughter first and meet her needs and after some getting used to, there is not a problem in waking in the early morning, go to her room and give a kiss on her head and see her smile and say good morning dad. I became used to these things. Still, time for friends and fun can be shortened, but the way I see it is if I need to be out with some friends it will be for a walk or a visit. That way I can bring my daughter along. I am not the type to drop her off with a nanny just to go have a good time. Except when I'm leaving the country for a business trip like now so i took her to stay with my mum. The amount of love I feel since I have had my daughter is unimaginable. I feel like I am the best everyday when I am near her and look at her smile. She is beautiful and I made her. I am proud. Love is a feeling that everyone can say that they have felt, but the love that shines on from the depth of a child's heart is much different.
You have always defined love, happiness, dreams and every gorgeous thing on earth for me.
I have to go to my office now.
Take good care of yourself my darling. I love you!!
