In conclusion, our study's results suggest that women with a birth plan, which is based mainly on minimizing interventions during the process of childbirth, do not have significantly less cesarean births or third/fourth degree tears. possible reasons may be that women in both groups had similar rates of interventions during labor and birth despite one group having a birth plan and the other not having one. the positive finding of babies of nulliparous women having better umbilical artery cord blood pH values requires more study as other have not reported similar results.
