Interestingly, all instances of learning outcomes related to cropping practices came from Watha participants, a group with a relatively short history of experience in the agricultural lifestyle. A Watha youth, quoted above (interview 30), also acknowledged the need to gain further skills to improve the community's living standard. “What I remember is that we have to change our lives personally as Watha from the way our old people live. Our grandparents used to live in the forest. We need to have ways of getting our daily needs like the other communities.”
