Put everything in a medium size stock pot. Cover with at least a liter of water. Stock pot everything above for 6-8 hours. When you’re done, wow, you have beef essence like no other. If you don’t have a crock pot then put it in a stock pot and watch it for 4 hours. It’s not as good, but it will do. Why? Well, the slow cooker pot tends to leech out every bit of beef essence without loosing a lot of water and that’s what you want as a soup base.
