“Thank you for your work, Jongup.” Daehyun said, turning towards the teen. He reached into his suit jacket, pulling out a wad of cash, held tightly together by a rubber band. Daehyun reached out and gently put his hand on the teen's shoulder. “Welcome to the family, I expect great things from you.”
The teen grinned reaching out to take the cash, a sense of accomplishment washing over him. He'd finally completed his first task. It wasn't difficult, Jung Daehyun had simply told him to get close, as close as he possibly could to Junhong because he wanted to make it hurt just as badly as he'd been hurt by Yoo Youngjae. He wasn't sure what the drug lord was going to do now and to be honest, he really didn't care. All that mattered was he finally had a place and a family to go to now. Drug cartel or not, it was family and that was something he'd never had before. “You may leave.” The teen excused himself, leaving his friend, boss and Bang Yongguk behind.
“He's pretty, boss.” Yongguk leered and when Daehyun sent him a murderous look, he straightened up.
“Don't you dare lay a finger on him.” The man warned, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Things went silent for a moment, the two staring at Junhong. “Boss. . .” Yongguk paused for a moment. “. . . What are you planning?”
“Tie him up and get him into the car.” Daehyun said, ignoring the man's question. “We need to start preparing.”
“For what? What are we preparing for?”
Daehyun took in a deep breath before loudly exhaling. He finally looked towards his best man, his face cold and emotionless. “The end.” He answered. “We are preparing for the end.”
