CHERUBIM by Konno Cycleworks (Shin-ichi Konno)
Founded in 1965, CHERUBIM represents the history of custom frame building in Japan. Three Konno brothers and their frames, CHERUBIM, 3Rensho and Miyuki, led the early age of the frame building industry in the country and CHERUBIM is the only surviving brand with the family tradition. CHERUBIM was the frame supplier for the 1968 Mexico Olympic Games. More recently, CHERUBIM frames, embodying decades of ongoing research and uncompromising craftsmanship, won seven consecutive Best Handmade Bicycle Awards from 1998 to 2005 in the prestigious annual show sponsored by the Japan Cycling Association. Under the leadership of Shin-ichi Konno, chief builder and son of Hitoshi Konno, the founder, CHERUBIM continues to live by its founding spirit of achieving a fusion of innovation and tradition and eagerly look forward to presenting our frames and bicycles
