New Valeo Code of Ethics principles: the backbone of our culture of integrity and operational excellence
Dear all,
As we grow and develop throughout the world, we want to continue upholding the highest standards of integrity and to share our values with our employees and business partners. We also want to protect the Group and our teams from risks such as conflicts of interest, corruption or attacks against our IT systems and Intellectual Property.
It is therefore my pleasure to announce today the global kick off of the new Valeo Code of Ethics.
Leveraging on both our historical code and our compliance program, the new code reflects our culture of business integrity and operational excellence. It reaffirms Valeo’s core values and our commitment to a lawful, successful and profitable development. It applies to all of us and addresses situations or dilemmas that we may be faced with in our day to day life. It also refers to additional rules, policies and compliance tools, aimed at guiding all of us. As such, it fully supports our culture of business integrity and operational excellence.
The Code is available in 22 languages, applicable throughout Valeo globally and mandatory for all of us: employees, managers, directors, leaders.
All of you should by now have received your personal copy and I count on each of you to read, understand, comply with and frequently refer to this document. Expect more communication and information from our Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer and from your leadership. And of course, feel free to ask questions and seek advice from your Legal contact, Compliance Champions or from the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer.
I am convinced that integrity in everything we do at, on behalf of and for Valeo must be our key driver. This is why I expect you to strictly abide by our ethical standards and comply with our rules.
