In this report we demonstrate two cryopreservation protocols(cryovial and droplet-vitrification) for the conservation of avocadoSE that can be applied to multiple cultivars through the optimi-sation of loading sucrose concentrations and plant vitrificationsolution 2 (PVS2) temperature and times. We have achieved viabil-ity ranging from 59 to 100% with cryovial and droplet-vitrificationwith SE of cultivars ‘A10, ‘Reed’, ‘Velvick’ and ‘Duke-7after shortand long-term LN exposure.
