He started working at Brøderbundin 1987 as manager of technical services, becoming the Productivity Group’s executive publisher six months later. From 1990, through 1993, he was promoted to senior vice president of the newly formed Brøderbund Studios in 1994. Prior to joining Brøderbund, Wilker headed Sentient Software in Aspen, Colorado, which he co-founded in 1981. He received a B.S. in political science from George Washington University and a M.A. in political science from State University of New York at Buffalo.
