Influence of occupational commitment on enterprise labor relationsTheoretically, the passion and power putted into one’s work are largely depending on the attitude and knowledge of his/her occupation (Cohen, 1993; Vandenberg and Scarpello, 1994). Firms are not only the provider of specific content of occupation but also the receiver of impacts created by employees’ occupational commitment. Employees who devote a lot on the occupation are more likely to confirm the relationship between the firm and themselves. Firms might keep harmonious labor relations healthy by understanding the content of occupational commitment and adding relevant guides to managerial strategy. Thus, it is reasonable and necessary to study how the occupational commitment works on the firms’ labor relations.
