2.5.6. Bulk density
The cylindrical can with 18.25 cm diameter and 25.75 cm height was used to determine bulk density. The fried rice crackers were poured into the 2/3 of the can,
and the can was knocked fifteen times.
After this more fried rice crackers were added into the can up to its top,
followed by knockingfive times and weighing.
Five weight readings were averaged and divided with volume of the can to calculate the bulk density
(modified from Dahl & Villota, 1991).
