We did not stay in the hotel we only ate in the restaurant, food was fine but the staff acted like they didn't want us there at all. They didn't say hello, smile, make eye contact.... Nothing! They were not particularly busy so not sure why they acted like this, perhaps they had worked long shifts in the hotel. They forgot half of our meal even though i saw the waitress write it down, not that this bothers me as this kind of thing happens often, but then dont act like im a massive inconvenience when I ask again for the forgotten item of food! At the end I tried smiling and said 'kapun kaa' when i paid my money to the lady at the end who didn't look at me, acknowledge my existence or say a word, so I said it again and she just nodded (still not looking at me )and walked off. I was pretty offended! At least smile or say hello?!! In england if I gave customer service that bad as a waitress I would be fired! Your behaviour makes people feel very unwelcome! Becky
Room Tip: Hope the hotel staff are nicer than the restaurant staff.
