Australia's vegetation comprises of a variety of plant species according to the climate.
Shrubland is widely found in the centre of the country while the dominant vegetation type of Australia is the hummock grassland that occurs extensively in West and South Australia as well as the Northern Territories. Tropical rain forests are found in the northeastern part. Eucalypt and Acacia woodlands are the main vegetation of the eastern part which has a subtropical climate. Eucalypt and Acacia are two main economic plants of Australia. Deciduous and coniferous forests can be seen in the southeastern part of the country which has a temperate climate.
