Ultima Chrome 910 DC is a sulfate-based trivalent chromium plating process which give
a fashionable white chrome finish. Moreover, the colour of the coat is similar in brightness to that of the traditional, hexavalent chromium process.
This chemical is the ideal replacement for hexavalent chromium processes which have been regulated heavily throughout the industry.
1. Special Features:
• Hexavalent Chromium free plating process.
• Fashionable and dark chrome finish.
• High plating speeds achievable.
• Respectable results from CASS and Calcium-Chloride performance test.
• Uniform and consistent covering power.
2. Equipment required:
The electrolyte tank should be made of unfilled polypropylene. It is of the essence that the tank used be free from any kind of metallic objects.
Rack:
Racks which previously were used in hexavalent chromium electrolytes must either be subjected to the same cleaning process.
Anodes:
Specially designed TCA anodes.
Filtration:
Filter mesh: 5 - 10 μm.
Filtering capacity: The electrolyte volume should be filtered 1 - 5 times / hour.
We strongly advise you against using untested activated carbon! Activated carbon can release
