looking more broadly at what was happening in this and in other moments of learning for Mick, Kaarin children;
talking with others about how they saw gender and sexuality operating in our early childhood classroom and in other early childhood classrooms;
finding out what researchers and theory said about how gender and sexuality are part of children's learning and relationships
looking at how broad social policy and specific early childhood service policies and practices were part of how gender and sexuality was constituted within the classroom;
using this information to plan, document and reflect on a change that might create more socially just learning for Kaarin, Mick and others.
These are some possibilities for how I could use action research to explore this moment between Kaarin, Mick, myself and others
