Escalator Availability
(a) Each failure of an Escalator in service shall be alarmed to the station
control room via BMS and/or SCADA system and initiate time stamp in the
record. The out of service period shall be recorded until the operation is
resumed.
(b) The duration of the non-availability shall be recorded as the time from
advice of a fault to the station control room up to the time that the Escalator
is returned to normal service.
(c) The Escalator Availability shall be measured by reference total number of
Escalator in revenue service period.
