Rebsamen et al. have developed an interface for
automatically controlling movement for severely disabled
persons in a building from one location to another along
predefined paths and trails [17]. The BMI interface type used
is a non invasive asynchronous based on cognitive ERPs
type P300. The wheelchair is stationary in a given position;
the user interface provides all destinations that can be
reached from this position. The number of possible
selections destinations is considerably limited. Once the
selection is made, the chair automatically moves to the
desired destination. The user can also decide to stop the
chair.
