How we Came to Be...
United Carbonations Inc (UC) was formed four years ago when my brother Louis and I (Leon) Salabert got tired of drinking the same old soda flavors in every restaurant we visited. We started playing with some fresh local flavors as a surprise for our parent’s anniversary party... then our sister asked us to create something for her husband’s birthday, and so UC was born.
Carbonation Incorporation...
People around town tasted the soda from our family functions and they started making orders for their special occasions and local events. We grew in popularity and we decided to formalize and incorporate the company. After the incorporation, we bought a small sized mixing and bottling machine. This machine could mix, bottle and seal 50 bottles an hour. A lot of the production happened during the week to ensure enough soda to meet the weekend functions’ demand.
Time to Expand...
Our biggest success was late in 20X1 when we started selling the soda at larger community functions, sports and other recreational activities. This resulted in our reputation growing and neighboring towns hearing about the soda and embracing it. Everyone was talking about UC’s soda especially the Grapefruit and Chocolate flavor. We started to employ people as the work increased and we got larger premises and bought additional machinery. The new machinery could mix, bottle and seal 1000 bottles of soda an hour. The number of sales representatives increased and our focus was on the high school and university market. Most students drink at least one soda everyday and with this market, our sales increased substantially. The buzz and fizz in our home country of Beverageland was incredible!
From Beverageland to Fizland and Beyond...
People from our neighboring country Fizland who attended school or events in Beverageland heard the buzz about our unique flavors and they bought crates of our soda to take back to Fizland. In August 20X2 we conducted market research in Fizland and the results revealed that it was time to expand UC's distribution. Late in 20X2, we employed 10 local sales representatives for the Fizland market. Orders started coming in from Fizland, where almost every store close to the Beverageland border made an order. As with Beverageland, Grapefruit and Chocolate soda was the favorite. With the orders coming in, it was time to rent a storage facility in preparation for shipping soda to Fizland, along with purchasing new trucks to transport the soda. In 20X3 we started shipping soda to Fizland and we are showing steady growth as the Fizland market is growing and more people are buying our soda. We are seeing a substantial increase in the number of distributors and wholesalers who are buying UC’s soda.

In 20X3 the UC Television Commercial was the most popular commercial. With followers in leading social networks of over 500,000, we are proud to say that United Carbonations is one of the leading family owned soda manufacturers.
