The aim of this study was to develop a method for blood and urine trace element determination using double focusing sector field inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and to perform a biomonitoring of a beryllium processing enterprise for
occupational exposure evaluation using this method. Although beryllium is really hazardous for human health we did not find any multielement biomonitoring data for beryllium processing plants. Twenty trace elements were determined in 50 blood and 40 urine samples of 50 workers
