1: The following test shall additionally apply to the parts for use in the destinations where diesel
fuel and gasoline may be frequently splashed on the parts (For example, Indonesia and other
Southeast Asia countries).
Test Procedure:
Parts shall be tested in 10 test cycles and then evaluated for the properties noted in Table 1-3,
Chemical Resistance Test.
One test cycle consists of:
① Leaving test pieces at 50℃ for 8 hours while 500 cc of gasoline (or diesel fuel) is splashed
hourly on the test pieces in a area assumed as equivalent to that of the actual part,
followed by
② Leaving in the standard laboratory condition for 16 hours
