Guide : The Buddha image has a round face with a lotus-bud halo, large hair curls, a prominent chin and a smiling expression. The body is corpulent with a short rode-end over the left shoulder. The Buddha is usually seated in the crossed-leg position. Those belonging to the Late Chiang Saen school, which lasted from the 15th until the 18th century, are characterized by the Sukhothai influence: a flame0like halo on the head, a round or oval face and small hair curls.
