To summarize, we have developed a ImageJ-based tool that
has provided good results on our research of magneto-rheological
fluids. It contains the code implementation required for the analysis
of the huge quantity of images provided by our experimental
optical video-microscopy setup. Besides, the images are analyzed
simultaneously to the calculation of statistics and physically interesting
magnitudes. Simplicity, platform independency, open-source
methodology and non-GUI dependence has been the design key
points of JChainsAnalyser. This application could also be useful,
without slight modifications, to other researchers on fields such
as colloidal sciences, astronomy or biophysics.
