The Mandarin hotel, located on Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona, is an amazing case study of interior architecture and remodeling from an old building of the Spanish Civil War. It used to be a former bank. Hence the title of the bar: the "bar Banker".
Both the bar and the outside terrasse are stunningly sharp and the quality of service irreproachable: if your cocktail isn't on the menu, just ask for it anyway and they'll make it for you! They didn't have "Vanilla Sky" my favourite cocktail so I asked for it and they looked for the recipe and prepared it for me. It was such a nice gesture.
