Boots UK is to launch its first range of healthy evening meal options under the Shapers brand.
The range marks the first extension of its Shapers range to evening meals and is Boots UK’s latest innovation in offering convenient healthy food on the high street.
On sale from the 11 March, the range will be available in 100 selected Boots stores throughout London and key commuter sites across the UK.
The range follows the same format of Shapers’ lunchtime offering where customers can choose a main meal and accompaniment or dessert for 500 calories or less.
The evening Shapers selection includes 25 new options spanning main meals, warm salads, vegetable and salad accompaniments as well as desserts.
Main meals include classics such as Chicken Tikka Masala, Broccoli and Cauliflower Cheese as well as international flavours such as Chicken and Seafood Paella and Green Thai Chicken Curry.
There are two salad options and desserts including fresh fruit jellies.

Prices start at £1.35 for desserts and range to £3.25 for ready meal options, and will launch with price promotions such as 2 for £2 and 2 for £5.
All main meals will be available at an introductory price of 2 for £5 until 30 April 2013.
The launch will be supported by a PR campaign as well as in-store promotion including window materials and chiller headers.
