Directions for Georgian House from Victoria Station
From Victoria Station the easiest, although not the shortest way, is to take Buckingham Palace Road and walk towards Victoria Coach Station. At the traffic lights at the coach station, turn left into Elizabeth Bridge. Keep walking straight on, as St. George's Drive is an extension of Elizabeth Bridge. St. George's Drive is quite a long street and at one stage it changes its name briefly to Eccleston Square. Don’t worry, as it quickly becomes St. George's Drive again, just pass the garden square, and the hotel is just across the traffic lights on the right hand side. You will see the green hanging ornamental balls.
From Victoria Station most of our customers just walk to the hotel. However travelling with lots of luggage may require taking a taxi. A black cab taken from outside the station will be cheaper than a mini cab, and it should not cost more than £5.00.
Car Parking
There are car parking restrictions in central London. It is free to park on the street before 8.30am and after 6.30pm in our area, and free from Friday evening until Monday morning. However, zones vary slightly in timings, so please check the signs before leaving your car. If you leave your car parked illegally for less than 5 minutes you can expect to receive a parking ticket and you may find that your car has been clamped, or worse, towed away to a police pound. The fines for both are very high. To avoid penalties you need to put your car on a meter. These usually take £1 and 20p pieces. Alternatively, there is a Q-Park, a short walk from the hotel. Gu
