The driver of a taxi whose roof was ripped off and auto body crushed in a five vehicle pileup in Bangkok miraculously survived, suffering only minor injuries.
Sandwiched between a cement mixer and a public bus, the pink cab was demolished as it slid under the rear section of the bus on Phayon Yothin road near the Saphan Khwai BTS station in Chatuchak district.
Prayong Srinachu, 46, was pulled out from the wrecked taxi shortly before noon and rushed to Paolo hospital in the Saphan Khwai area, according to a report on the Facebook page of traffic radio FM91trafficpro
