Reference our discussion at Propak exhibition with your goodself, Kevin and Piyavich yesterday afternoon. It was nice to meet your other team members.
Herewith is a summary of the issues discussed :
20 litres BIB
Please find below the correspondence thread on the supply of the 20 litres BIBs to Franklin Baker. The last we left off was that your PE bags failed the trials and you offered us PA/EVOH/PE bags, which were not price competitive. Other competitors have offered Nylon bags.
So, based on our discussion, you are now able to offer 20 litres BIBs with universal spout & snap cap (out from N.Z.). Please provide price and specification sheet.
Actually, we understand that they have already started purchasing the Nylon bags from Scholle (cost down project from metallized bags).
10 litres metallized BIB
For the 10 litres metallized BIBs (palletized out from your Bangkok factory), we await your best price. Please also help to check on the Form D possibility of shipping directly to Philippines from Bangkok, with Hypac as the third party (believe that there is a box on the lower left hand corner to tick for this option).
On our side, we will check on the possible volume for this item from Franklin Baker, and whether this item will affect the sales of the 20 litres BIB or not (see our remark above).
210 litres BIB
Attached is the correspondence thread for this size. We shall recheck with Franklin Baker if the storage conditions for the creamed coconut are frozen or chilled and shall revert.
Look forward to your updates on the above issues.
