With the rise of diverse organization development and increasing competitive levels, it is becoming essential to find out new strategy to empower organization and helping the business be more competitive than its rivals.
The aim of this project was to analyze the case study of Tesco in topic of “Using diversity and inclusion to provide better service”. Tesco is an online retailer and delivery business based in England. The popular retailer was founded in 1919 and has grown to be one of the largest retailers in the world. The retailer offers a range of items including groceries, wines, home electronics, and DVD rentals. In 2007, the company opened its first store in the United States under the name Fresh & Easy.
This report presents the meaning of diversity and equality, Tesco groups which are particularly covered by equality laws, Analysis of Tesco’s diversity strategy, the reason of workforce’s important between the customers and the business, the different network groups and organization that Tesco supports descriptive and evaluating why each is of importance in helping the business be more competitive than its rivals.
