Transformational leadership style
Transformational leadership is defined as a leaders` ability to influence subordinates and to gain satisfaction and intellectual motivation, taking into account individual differences among them (5).
TL has four dimensions:
i. Charisma: creates imagination and meaning of mission, instills vanity, and wins confidence and respect.
ii. Inspiration: Communicates elevated prospects, uses signs to centering attempts and expresses important objects in plain methods.
iii. Intellectual Stimulation: Promotes brainpower, rationality, and careful problem solving.
iv. Individualized Consideration: Gives private care and attention, treats each follower as an individual, coaches, and advises (6).
Studies on TL focuses on the relationship between leaders and followers, a relationship which has an enduring moral purpose is grounded on the fundamental wants, needs, aspirations and values of followers. Transformational leadership is comprised of the following dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, charismatic and intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration (7).

move to a higher level of stimula ion. This theory was later reinforced by (9) and others (10). Transformational leaders have been associated with the personal outcomes (11) of the follower as well as organizational outcomes (12-13). Many research have shown that transformational leadership affects followers’ satisfaction (14) and commitment to the organization. Research has also shown that transformational leadership impacts employee commitment to organizational change (15) and organizational conditions (16). Due to its impacts employee commitment to organizational outcomes, transformational leadership is needed in all organizations (17).
