2.15. Statistical analysis
Data are expressed as mean (± SEM). The experiments were repeated at least
three independent times. Statistical analysis of the data was carried out using
one way ANOVA, followed by Tukey’s HSDpost hoc test (equal variances) or
Dunnett’s T3post hoctest (unequal variances). These tests were performed using
SPSS software (version 17). Difference was considered statistically significant when
theP-value was less than or equal to 0.05 (significant) and 0.01 (highly significant).
MATLAB ver. 7.0, GraphPad Prism 5.0 and Microsoft Excel 2003 were also used for
statistics analysis and graphical evaluation.
