Go to the beachs! Australia has more then 11,000 of them, and some of the really great ones are very close to Australia's big cities. My favorites? Bondi Beach is probably the most well-known. ...... My favorite beach near Perth is Cottesloe. If extreme is your thing, you can try kite surfing or paragliding. June November is the best time to go.
Visit the Upper Murray River in the Snowy Mountains in the New Sound Wales and take an exciting white-water rafting trip! You can go for the day, or you can go on a rafting and camping trip for two days or more! The best time togo is between July and January. .... We saw a lots of birds, kangaroos, and other wildlife, too!
Try volunteering for a few weeds or more! I did some volunteering last year, it was great. ....... These cities have great sightseeing, museums, restaurants, and shopping, and they are the starting point for some great volunteer trip. I traveled with a group called the Green Team. They can arrange trips for you that last from one week to six months! If you're not sure you'll like volunteering, you can try it for a day by going on a"taster" -a short and inexpensive "taster trip." If you like it, you can arrange a longer trip. If you decide on a long trip, they'll give you your money back for the taster!
If you're looking for something really adventure, go to A.J.Hackett's in Cairns. Built in 1990, it's Australia's oldest bungee jumping tower - right in the center of a tropical rain forest! You'll find 16 differant kinds of bungee jumps and lots more adventures to choose from! ....... If you like wildlife and the environment and enjoy looking around underwater, you should go there!
