Setting appropriate tasks which challenge and motivate pupils and encourage a high level of participation in lessons.
Instructing students in the use of learning materials and resources.
Promoting equal opportunities in the classroom.
Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
Preparing thorough lesson plans.
Establishing clear goals for all learning activities.
Contributing to extra-curricular activities where necessary.
Assigning and grading classwork and home work.
Communicating and consulting with the parents of pupils;
Collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators.
