The contents of soybean
and rapeseed meals and synthetic AA were adjusted
to provide similar contents in CP (19% on DM basis) and
digestible AA (8.3 g/kg for Lys) in the 2 diets. Adding dietary
fibers led to a lower content in NE for the Fiber diet
(7.51 MJ NE/kg) than the Control diet (9.69 MJ NE/kg).
Titanium dioxide (0.3%) was included as an inert marker
for digestibility calculations in the 2 experimental diets.
