After I read this journal, I know that this journal present the efficacy of teaching of vocabulary building in the language laboratory to secondary school students by Mr. Talwar Mini Satish (2012). She conducted experimental research with 60 VII class students of P.K.R. Jain Vatika school, Ambala City, in 2010 (2012). The students of std.VII in P.K.R. Jain Vatika school had problem in learning English vocabulary. Main objective were to develop an understanding about language laboratory to ascertain the difference between language laboratory method and the traditional of the students taught through language laboratory and the students who received traditional instructions. Finding, this study present enough evidence to show that teaching in the language laboratory is more effective than it is in the traditional classroom.
For me, the vocabularies are very important to learning language. In my discussion
I started with the first question ‘ What do you think about the important of the vocabularies in English language? ’ Everybody help me to reply the question. They said the vocabularies were very important. If you wanted to learn any language because the vocabularies are basic to study 4 skills, writing, speaking, listening and reading. Second question, How often do you taught laboratory method in your school? Somebody said learning and teaching English in the language lab not conduct only in Ambala City but also in secondary schools, colleges, and universities in Thailand and their school, too. My school don’t have laboratory room too and is now there are many technology for teaching same laboratory method such as websites, internet ,projector Williams (2000) said integration of technology can improve academic performance, enhance motivation and promote learning (language lab)For examples; It’s help students improve their aural–oral skills. Students can use this method for their pronunciation, grammar and translation practice. The language laboratory is also appropriate for some schools that do not have native speakers or foreign teacher because they can listen and speak follow the English accent sound correctly. Students in my school can record their own production and they can listen to focus on their own mistakes as having some feedback. They also can interact with their friends and teacher when they learn in the language lab.
This knowledge could be mix teaching method also manages for educational advantage. I thank integrate technology into language instruction to make teaching and learning more effective. The instructors should be make positive attitude on learning English created by finding an innovation electronic based teaching and learning material for grammar and instructors should to choose appropriate method to teach them.
