The circumferential marks caused by the contact of the right shell bearing n.3 with the crank surface, show damages introduced by the right shell bearing n. 3 in the crankshaft surface area, which promoted the initiation of the two fatigue cracks on the crank web surface; the contact of the shell bearing with the crank web in the fractured zone was due to the wear and fracture of the location lugs of the right shell bearings.
