The geometric accuracy was carried out using a per-pixel analysis
also considering the 2300
clear-cut areas that were detected via an onscreen visual interpretation
of aerial orthophotos. The producer accuracy of the
algorithm-derived forest cover change areas was 55.1%, with a
Kappa Index of Agreement (KIA) of 0.672. The overall classification
accuracy totalled 94.3%.
