Conclusions
Perhaps aerobic dance instructors should examine their total workout and strive to compliment the cardiovascular benefits with range of motion activities and participation in alternate movement activities. This might prevent the mind set that if I do a lot of the same type exercise and if my cardiovascular condition is good, I do not have to take care of the other components of wellness. Our study concludes that chronic participation in aerobic dance does not facilitate the improvement of the range of motion of the antigravity muscles nor does the movement involved in aerobic dance improve instructor's ability to coordinate motor movement in a complex movement pattern.
